My artistic journey began with a deep-seated interest in conservation and wildlife. Working as an ecologist in the UK, I've seen first hand the pressures our wildlife faces. It was a natural progression from observing and documenting to capturing their essence through art. This connection to the natural world is the very heart of my creative process.

What makes my animal and wildlife art special? I primarily work in pastels, a medium I find very versatile for capturing the subtle textures and vibrant colours of nature. While I occasionally experiment with graphite, coloured pencil, and charcoal, I always find myself returning to pastels. I'm constantly inspired by other far more talented artists and hope to delve into oils and acrylics in the future,. I am always looking to infuse my work with a profound connection to the animal kingdom.
